Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at AlBassem Refrigeration Industries. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

  2. Budget Management: Assist in the development and monitoring of the company's budget, ensuring adherence to financial goals and guidelines.

  3. Financial Analysis: Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

  4. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. Work with external tax advisors as needed.

  5. Payroll Processing: Oversee payroll processing, including calculations, deductions, and tax withholding, to ensure accurate and timely employee compensation.

  6. Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, process invoices, and reconcile accounts payable to ensure timely payments.

  7. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to maintain liquidity and make informed financial decisions.

  8. Financial Audits: Assist in financial audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.

  9. Compliance: Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations, ensuring the company's financial practices remain in compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

  2. CPA certification is a plus.
  3. Proven experience in accounting roles, preferably in the refrigeration or HVAC industry.
  4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  5. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.

  9. Knowledge of Odoo software is a plus.
