Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at AlBassem Refrigeration Industries. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
Responsibilities:
Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Budget Management: Assist in the development and monitoring of the company's budget, ensuring adherence to financial goals and guidelines.
Financial Analysis: Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. Work with external tax advisors as needed.
Payroll Processing: Oversee payroll processing, including calculations, deductions, and tax withholding, to ensure accurate and timely employee compensation.
Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, process invoices, and reconcile accounts payable to ensure timely payments.
Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to maintain liquidity and make informed financial decisions.
Financial Audits: Assist in financial audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
Compliance: Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations, ensuring the company's financial practices remain in compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in accounting roles, preferably in the refrigeration or HVAC industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
Knowledge of Odoo software is a plus.
