Air-cooled aftercoolers
Fan-cooled coils that cool the hot, humid air leaving a compressor and condense its moisture.
About this design
Compressed air leaves the compressor hot and loaded with moisture. An air-cooled aftercooler passes it through a finned coil cooled by outside air blown by a fan, so most of the water condenses and can be drained before the air reaches the process.
Units are built to order. Standard designs are coded BC-AC followed by the model number and the air condition. To size one, send us the air flow, the pressure, the inlet and outlet temperatures and the moisture content (g/kg).
